Hi, I’m Tazim—a Canadian travel writer, digital content creator, and the voice behind Celebrate Life’s Adventures. I focus on travel across BC, Alberta, and Quebec with an eye for culture, nature, and deeper stories.

I work in the tourism industry myself, so I understand the behind-the-scenes challenges—and the incredible opportunities—to create visitor experiences that are meaningful, inclusive, and truly worth sharing.

Why Work With Me

I don’t just write about travel—I live it. And I bring a perspective that’s often overlooked.

I have hearing loss in my left ear, so I value subtitles and written content. I’ve had three knee surgeries—including a total knee replacement—and currently use a walker or cane. I also live with ADHD, which means I appreciate quiet corners, benches to rest, and exhibits that offer more than one way to engage.

I often travel with my 80-year-old mother. That means I notice accessibility, not just for myself, but for multi-generational travellers too.

These experiences shape how I explore and how I share stories. They’ve made me more thoughtful, more observant, and more committed to highlighting places that truly welcome all visitors.

How I Travel

I don’t rush through destinations just to tick off the highlights. I prefer road trips, slower-paced travel, and experiences that connect me with nature, culture, and community.

Most days on the road start with a local coffee and a vegan-friendly breakfast, often enjoyed on the way to a quiet trail, lake, or waterfall, before the crowds arrive. Midday usually involves picking up a plant-based lunch from a locally owned café and taking it to a shaded park or scenic waterfront.

In the afternoons, I visit small museums, cultural centres, and historic sites, with a coffee stop to pick up roasted beans or vegan chocolate as a souvenir. I love browsing bookstores, artisan food shops, and local crafts before winding down for the evening at a restaurant with good plant-based options.

While I don’t drink alcohol, I enjoy ending the day with a local performance, a movie, or a theatre show. My trips are shaped by curiosity, comfort, and cultural connection, not a checklist.

If your destination, museum, or experience makes people feel included, seen, and inspired, I want to help more people find you.

  • Sponsored blog posts with SEO strategy and natural affiliate integration
  • Reels, photos, and short-form video for events, exhibits, or heritage sites

Audience & Community

I don’t just share travel content—I actively connect with a community of travellers who care about culture, accessibility, and exploring Canada in meaningful ways.

Blog & Social Stats:

Facebook Communities I Lead:

  • 🏞 BC Nature and Culture Travel – 200+ members sharing trip ideas, museums, gardens, and nature-based outings across BC.
  • 🐢 Slow Travel – 600+ members who care about exploring places at a gentler pace, often with mobility needs, multigenerational travel, or deeper cultural interest.

These are active, niche communities where I regularly engage, share recommendations, and spark real conversations—not just post and scroll. When I promote something, it’s with intention and credibility.
